An exceptional and increasingly rare Italian Mid-Century executive desk set, produced in the 1950s and officially marked by Esposizione Permanente Mobili Cantù, a benchmark of post-war Italian design quality and institutional craftsmanship.

The main executive desk features a striking black glass top combined with six fully lockable drawers, offering both authority and refined functionality. The drawer fronts are distinguished by channeled wood detailing in a deep ebony tone, a sophisticated decorative element typical of high-end Italian production, and are completed with finely crafted solid brass handles that add depth, warmth, and visual richness.

The set is complemented by a coordinated secondary typing desk, also finished with a black glass top and a functional drawer. Conceived as part of the original executive composition, it enhances the versatility and presence of the ensemble while maintaining a cohesive architectural identity.

Both desks are in excellent vintage condition. All wooden surfaces have been professionally restored and hand-polished using traditional shellac, reviving the natural grain and ensuring the pieces are ready for immediate use.
Only very minor, age-consistent signs of wear are present, discreetly located beneath the glass tops; they are not immediately visible and do not affect the overall aesthetics or structural integrity.
